When Philippe Mora found it difficult to raise the funds for an epic account of the life and times of Adolf Hitler, he had a moment of ingenious clarity. He instead chose to direct a film about a mental patient who believes he is Hitler, and so Mora could make the account about the life and times of the Fuhrer in a unique way with a modest budget.

The movie blew my mind!

I luckily saw this movie during it's run at the Beverly Cinema earlier this month. When I returned to see it again it was gone....I brought my friends and we were very disappointed.

The performances were worthy of the praise given by the press reviews. Angus Macfadyen is an incredible actor that deserves serious attention. How did Mr. Mora assemble this incredible cast of character actors? I will see anything from this brilliant filmmaker.

In these times of uncertainty about our future this movie reflects on the past, which is worthy of review.
