RIP Mel Blanc

Bugs Bunny's Wild World of Sports (1989) is a Looney Tunes TV Special that marked the final production with the great Mel Blanc as the voice of the Looney Tunes characters and it was a wild ride.

Positives for Bugs Bunny's Wild World of Sports (1989): It was fun watching this collection of older Looney Tunes Cartoons as they take part in various sports. I am a big sucker for older pieces of media since I've watched a lot of older movies from the past. It was also a little bittersweet seeing this special knowing that this was the last time we would hear Mel Blanc voicing these characters on screen. The animation in these older cartoons looks absolutely spectacular and they still hold up to this day. The humor is also very good and it was on point. And finally, this TV Special was very fast-paced with its energy and I loved every minute of it.

Negatives for Bugs Bunny's Wild World of Sports (1989): The TV Special isn't as wild as the title would tell you. I do wish we could seen something more wild.

Overall, Bugs Bunny's Wild World of Sports (1989) is another wonderful Looney Tunes TV Special and a good sendoff to the legacy of Mel Blanc.
