Inferior to the 1984 film due to increased "goofball" factor

Whereas Hissatsu! (1984) was an imaginative and exciting film with cute humorous touches, this film suffers from too much cheese. The old timey "ricky-ticky" type of soundtrack accompaniment really grates on the nerves. For English speaking audiences, the dialogue by the "Americans" is painfully bad. (i.e. "Take that! And, that!" during fight scenes) The plot is interesting but too many annoying factors make this a miss.
