Simply failed to hold my attention

It starts with marching. Abrupt cut to an arrest in progress then cut again to rich guys talking about drugs over champagne. Next a Jaguar with drugs in the trunk drives all over Hong Kong.

The first 20 minutes of this movie failed to make sense to me. The story seems to involve Jason Pai Piao as a cop and something to do with drug smuggling. My copy is a digital file that plays as widescreen on a HDTV but it is not really widescreen. It is dubbed in English by the A team of voice actors. It seems to be a recording of a television broadcast.

Overall, the movie simply failed to hold my attention. There was a problem with the copy I had. Sometimes poor resolution and too close up from cropping to fit a TV screen makes it an effort just to watch. Even so, the action was only passable and the story rambled.
