Mahou shoujo meruru

I was thinking this film would be a bit better than what was presented. I was expecting more light fare than what I got too. This one though gets a bit more bloody and violent than I would have liked to have seen. The story follows a cute blond sorcerer named Meru in what seems to be a two part show. In the first part a town has come under siege of this giant ogre. He defeats a lone female soldier with ease and promptly has his way with her. In this anime the sex is graphic and it is good/bad. I like it when the female enjoys the sex and at times it does appear they are, but at other times it looks to be to rough. Well Meru comes to town and tries to help out against said ogre and ends up not doing so well. Then in the second episode she joins up with a group of travelers and after helping them escape amorous slugs (yes a truly bizarre anime) she joins them and they head along the river. Meru and one of her other female companions gets captured by some fish guys and you know where this is going. This portion of the film is a bit like a Lord of the Rings scenario as they have a dwarf and another strange looking dude as part of the group. Funny seeing as how the Lord of the Rings movies were not yet made when this one was released. This series though if it were only the two episodes ended a bit prematurely as there seems to be so much more they could have done. This is an early example of adult anime (also known as hentai) and it looks rather good. The sex would be better though if it were more consensual or at least had the girls enjoying more than they did here. Still, it was rather entertaining just needed to be longer with maybe more wizard stuff and action.
