I had to give this movie the full points cause me and my friends just really found our own experiences and our sense of humour, the frustrations, turmoils and adventures of our youth in this film. When guys are about 18, they are insecure, they try to be cool in a world in which they haven't found their place yet, they try to swim with the sharks and impress girls...growing up is fun and it's painful. Verhoeven manages to capture all these feelings in this little gem of a movie and reminds us that these days of real friendship, first love, lots of laughter and insecurities were just great...no matter, if belonging to the hip crowd or not. Just a fantastic little movie.
