Yesterday night I saw this film... And I'm still thinking of it. What has impressed me most in the film? Maybe the fact that it contains TOO MUCH truth about life in one of the former republics of the USSR... It's hard to call it beautiful, beacause it doesn't make one experience feelings of happiness, enjoyment and esthetic pleasure. But I don't consider it ugly, though there's a number of rather scary scenes. It's a clever combination of both ugly and beautiful sides of life, that makes one's heart shrink and sink, and beat faster.
I've tried to find some information about the film and the actors participating in it, but unfortunately my search hasn't been so successful.
