Around the time period of the February 9, 1958 telecast, twenty-six-year old Tab Hunter was riding high. A year before, Hunter had scored a worldwide number one recording hit with "Young Love," and after "Hans Brinker" was to start filming the Warner Bros. movie version of the Broadway hit musical "Damn Yankees" - which featured the original entire Broadway cast performing their original stage roles.

WHERE IS THE ACTUAL TV MOVIE? THIS IS NOT A MOVIE, IT IS ONLY MUSIC WHICH IS VERY SO-SO.

I SAW THIS WHEN I WAS 12. I WOULD SO LOVE TO SEE IT AGAIN.

I CANNOT REVIEW ANYTHING THAT I CANNOT SEE. PLEASE...DOES THE FILM EXIST?

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE TAB HUNTER AGAIN.

OF COURSE IT WAS GOOD WITH CHAMPION ICE SKATERS AND AT LEAST ONE HEART THROB.

I WAS ICE SKATING WHEN I WAS 12 AND WAS THRILLED TO SEE THIS MOVIE. I HAD ALREADY READ THE BOOK.

I DIDN'T KNOW PREVIOUSLY THAT TAB HUNTER WAS A CHAMPION ICE SKATER. THERE IS A NICE MOVIE CALLED SILVER SKATES WHICH SORT OF TELLS THE STORY OF HANS BRINKER BUT IT DOES NOT HAVE TAB HUNTER IN IT. I HAVE TRIED A HUNDRED TIMES TO FIND THIS TV MOVIE AND I HAVE NOT BEN SUCCESSFUL.
