Paul Thomas was entrusted by Vivid Video to make the Love Twins into movie stars, but this first feature for the lovely but untalented duo was too high a mountain for the great PT to climb. Result is two lousy features (including the second half, shot as "Two Hot for TV" but released as "True Hollywood Twins") headed for the remainders bin.
In this first installment there's plenty of porn parody, targeting such easy topics as Paris Hilton and E! Entertainment's dumb "True Hollywood Stories" program.
With an idiotic script by David Stanley, it's a sloppy show, clearly not invested with PT's usual prowess. The ladies can't recite dialog properly, and their way too careful movements in sex scenes, to avoid any impression of incest, is wearying.
The casting of busty Austin Kincaid as the Paris Hilton character shows how little the filmmakers care about anything, and their spoofing of reality TV with a show about cannibalism, spoofing "Survivor", is unfunny Stanley at his crummiest.
