Unfortunately this only ran for one series - although it was repeated more than once by Channel 4. If you have missed it, it is worth catching on The History Channel - keep an eye open for the next showing.
This is a crime/mystery programme that enlists the help of pairs of minor celebs to solve crimes from the past in three days with only the facilities available to the police at that time. Teaming Martina Cole with Brian Sewell and Paul Daniels with Janet Street Porter was pure genius! However, the star of the programme has to be the presenter: real life barrister, Jerome Lynch QC. He somehow manages to keep the teams in check and gets genuinely frustrated when they fail to see easy and important clues. He is smart, wickedly funny and the camera loves him - he should do more TV.
If you like real-life murder/mysteries, then you should like this one.
