Wissenswertes
Bob Van der Veken (1928-2019), Jacky Morel (1932-2020) and Manu Verreth (1940-2009) reprise their respective roles of civil service office manager Paul Tienpondt, caretaker Hilaire Baconfoy and classifier Jomme Dockx from the tragicomic VRT series De collega's (1978). They work in the same building as Christophe Uyttevenne (Eddie Brugman). Johny Voners also starred on that show as Thierry De Vucht. Voners does not appear in any scene with them.

Carmen and Xavier's house changes too drastically to look realistic. Where the bath room was on the left from where the camera view is, it is on the right, since the newsagent is now there. The kitchen has a completely different look. It is in front of the camera as well, it was a space to the right before, without a hatch. Spatial division no longer corresponds to how it was before. The last appearance of the original decor up to then was in Blauwhelmen (1995). The decor is in use until De nieuwe kracht (2002).
