Miami Vice was known for its 'designer violence' but it could also do humour at times.
This episode emphasised more on the humour and also concentrated on the side characters of Zito and Switek.
It was also directed by Rob Cohen who went on to direct the first movie in The Fast and the Furious franchise.
After his house is destroyed in a fire, Zito moves in with Switek. However this does not get down well with Switek new girlfriend Darlene. She used to go out with Zito.
They are tasked to bring down a fence for electronic goods but they are recognised by someone they had once busted. So they get Noogie Lamont and Izzy Moreno to go undercover.
An offbeat episode. I would liked to have seen a few more episodes concentrating on Zito and Switek.
Charlie Barnett who played Noogie would certainly put off part of the audience with his irritating mannerisms.
Watching this episode again 35 years later. It is astonishing to see the contrast between Miami Vice and other shows made by US television in the same era.
