The old house at the end of the film is actually two different houses. The exteriors were shot at a house in the woods of Carp, Ontario and the interiors were shot several miles away at a different house in the country. The two were then cut to look like the same house.

Definitely not the worst 90 minutes of my life

Right from the beginning, it is obvious that this film is very low budget and the actors are not professionals (I don't think). I was worried. I considered just stopping it and mailing back the DVD.

But I kept it going and I have to say it was hilarious! And the gore was awesome. There were definitely some creative minds working on this one. I think that they did what they set out to do--I didn't see any real plot holes and there were some good creepy moments among the humor.

Some of the lines had me laughing out loud, especially with the two French guys.

Make another one. I will watch it!
