A widower man . His daughter. A story from his past , heroic , impressive, useful for the virtues of patriotism, tenacity and friendship inspired reflected.

No doubts, as Romanian I am more than subjective in appreciation of this short animation, from the title ( opinci are traditional Romanian sandals ) to the enthusiasm of young Romanians studzing in West at the beginning of XX century, to the memories about the good night stories from childhood, all is more than touching and seductive.

The result - just an impressive one , from the fair remind of the tradition of Calushari to the adventures of four friends . And, sure, the animation itself.
