Very well made, intimate, and emotional documentary

I saw the documentary as party of the Meaningful Movies project.

The director portraits a camp that was run by unhoused people and introduces us to residents and their stories. While the camp still exists I find out later that it's no longer self-governed.

She lived with them for a short time in winter and is not afraid to share her own conflicting feelings. With much compassion she follows the different stories that ended up together at Camp Second Chance.

If you want to learn what some of the causes of homelessness are, and what could help people to break out of that cycle, I would recommend this inspirational work of love.
