The opening segment was pretty weak. Maybe it would have worked as a proper farewell for Dunne, but as a face turn it was just weird. It had no build and to make matters worse, led to a debut of Joseph Conners. Why? He's one of blandest guys on the british scene I can think of. RJ said something like "the crowd is stunned". They weren't stunned, they just didn't care. And you know what? Why should they? It's Joseph Conners. Who could possibly care about him? I hope he proves me wrong and absolutely kills it, but I'm not expecting much. Moving on. The six man tag was very fun. FCP guys, especially Aussie Open, were amazing. I hope they're gonna become regulars. Thatcher and Davis had a good, technical match with a very flat finish. Havoc/Brookes vs GYV was another good match, but it had a bit too much fuckery in the end. WALTER managed to get a pretty good match out of a very mediocre Wolfgang. Moustache Mountain vs Starr/Sexsmith was a very entertaining match. You could see how much the crowd wanted to cheer Trent and Tyler. The turn was definitely a good idea, but I hate how rushed it was. I loved the post match angle. Evil Mark and Vicky Haskins is a duo I wanted to see for a while. Not sure if I like Havoc being added to the dynamic, but it should be dope anyway. Storm vs Evans was fine. Main event had a fantastic first half, but once they started no selling and kicking out of finishers, it lost a bit of steam. Still a great match with an equally great story. A very consistent show that didn't have anything even resembling a bad match. I'm not sure if I would call it great, because it lacked that ****+ bout, but it's still a recommended viewing.
