If you're a fan of the Comic Strip growing up, this second animated special produced by the now defunct Lacewood Productions is probably worth watching around the holidays and for those who are a Middle Child growing up back then. The plot involves Elizabeth hating being left out of all sorts of things and being the middle child in the family. After letting April (the baby sister in their family) get a hold of her mother's favorite Christmas Ornament, of course, the angel suddenly breaks it while knocking down the tree, so Elizabeth has no choice but to be responsible and maybe make a new Angel to replace the broken one and there's also a subplot where Michael either decides to spend Christmas money at the Mall for gifts for himself or to his father and mother after raising enough from shoveling snow out of there neighbor's driveway (since they're Canadian). Elizabeth gets tired of being the middle child and can't resist going sledding by herself, and ends up on a detour and gets lost in the woods thus making her family believe she ran away or got lost, and to Elizabeth's surprise she discovers a cabin in the woods where an Old Woman with an Irish accent lives in and her name is Grace and Elizabeth learns some valuable and wise lessons from Grace while feeling under the cold weather after getting lost in the woods and leaving her winter cap behind after the crash.
Overall this For Better or For Worse Christmas released in 1992 is very good and heartwarming at the same time, and this is something everyone should see, and those who are a Middle child.
