If this were all done on purpose...

I have to start out by saying that if all the decisions in Backwoods Bubba were a deliberate attempt to parody itself, this is a work of genius unparalleled. Somehow though, I have my doubts, strong doubts.

Hey, I know making a movie is no picnic... it's HAAARRDDD. I get it. Even with my "get outta jail free card in my palm, this was a difficult film to get through.

In an effort to age or distress or "grindhouse" the film BB is so over exposed and blown out that most of the scenes are near impossible to watch. A blinding light prevalent in every scene, the movie is just technically difficult to sit through. The sound in parts in so poorly mixed that dialog gets lost in the background and becomes totally inaudible.

As a drinking game BB I'm sure can provide the casual viewer with enough fodder to kill them dead within the first 10 minutes. Therein might this film have finally found is legacy.
