A thoughtfully presented short

This short film is about a young boy who fears bad things may happen in the dark. One night, his night light fails to work, which turns out to be life saving.

"Night Light" is a personal memoir type of film, so you either appreciate it or you find it pointless and boring. In this case, I find "Night Light" thoughtfully presented. It begins with picturesque displays of light in everyday settings. It tells the significance of light to the modern day Bill, and of dark to the young Bill. The relationship between dark and night becomes intricate and delicate. However, I think there is too little plot in the film. If it were expanded, it would have been more engaging.
