I stumbled upon this 2008 TV movie here in 2023, and never having heard about it and seeing it was listed as a comedy here on IMDb, of course I was interested in seeing what it was. I wasn't really harboring the greatest of expectation to the movie though, given the movie's cover.
And within a minute of playing the movie, give or take, it was abundantly clear what type of movie experience this was going to be, as you had Christine Nguyen (playing Tarzeena) going fully nude, and I mean showing everything off here. And shortly thereafter it went to some rather questionable acting and a sex scene.
Yeah, "Tarzeena: Jiggle in the Jungle" is nothing more than writer Cyrus Nickleby getting to pen down some fantasies and then for director Fred Olen Ray to bring those fantasies to the screen in lewd manners. I hardly consider this as entertainment.
The acting performances in "Tarzeena: Jiggle in the Jungle" were dubious at best, since this is softcore pornography and not a proper movie. I wonder how it even got to bear the 'TV movie' label.
While I am not a prude, then I just don't see this kind of movie as being passable as entertainment. And this was certainly not a comedy.
My rating of "Tarzeena: Jiggle in the Jungle" lands on a one out of ten stars.
