Ben Loyd-Holmes (John Cain) had his cheekbone broken by Matthew Bancroft (Adrian Euston) during a fight scene that was a test shot for Black Book. Matthew came too close during a sequence in which he is beating Ben into a corner. Cast and Crew broke for lunch while Ben had ice applied to his face and was checked over. Ben was determined to finish the scene not realizing his cheek bone was actually broken and so one hour later filming resumed.
