Rival Speak

This "show" was cringe from start to finish. Wil Wheaton seems to have made a career out of interviewing people who've taken part in something (a TV show, podcast, game, etc.), rather than actually getting to be part of the thing itself. The desperation that Wheaton hides behind his manic eyes and forced grin is almost palpable. It's no wonder he's constantly relegated to the sidelines, since Wheaton simply cannot act; he can only play himself. For someone who constantly bangs on about being forced into an acting career he never wanted, Wheaton sure does seem desperate to stay in the game. Based on his performance here, he needs to put down the joystick and gracefully back away.
