Was intrigued by the premise of a queer love story set to the music of the Indigo Girls, and this rich movie does not disappoint! The boy-meets-boy story is well advanced by the creative use of a dozen or more songs from the Indigo Girls catalog. Sometimes sung straightforward, sometimes mashed up, Most of us can relate to the struggles of Glitter and Doom. Do you go out on a limb to "feed the soul" or lead the life mapped out for you?

Glitter + Doom was very enjoyable and visually stunning. While there are a few familiar faces. Both leads Alex Diaz and Alan Cammish carry the bulk of rhe plot with aplomb. You root for them to win at love and at defeating their self doubt.

The music in this film was all written by Amy Ray and Emily Saliers and includes some deep cuts from their timeless catalig. Glitter + Doom is proof that their music will be enjoyed for many years to come.
