Refreshing, engaging, with hilarious one liners throughout. A guaranteed fun watch. I is a coming of age story and more. I am in my 70s and the show uplifted me while at the same time challenged me. Brilliant close ups of characters alongside perfectly placed pauses highlighted feelings such that we in the audience were drawn into the emotion of each character. I adored the authenticity of these characters, their blunders and brilliance. Of course, the scenic setting on prized lakes of northern MN are a joy to sink into.

The fishing scenes seemed authentic, maybe not the big fish, but then again maybe. And the old cabin scenes were right out of the 1900s with field stone fireplaces, furniture collected over the years, homey and natural. That's what I liked about the whole film. The naturalness of the setting and the characters, so believable.

Let me mention again the clever dialogue. I could go and on and on about the clever humor, Don't miss this film. It's a winner!
