WUSSTEST DU SCHON:
- WissenswertesFilm plays a tribute at the opening credits to Amrish Puri and Vivek Shaque. They both can been seen in flash back scenes.A scene shows Amrsih Puri being hanged which was done to CGI effects.
- PatzerSikhs never cut their hair and beard but Sunny is shown with short hair in some scenes.
- Zitate
Jeetay (Charanjeet Singh): Wow! What a justice! My mother has read and explained me the Quran more than you have ever read. Don't you even know that the Shariat instructs you to ask the dying person's final wish?
Major General Hamid Iqbal: You have lost the privilege to be granted a final wish after this heinous crime, boy. But the law of Pakistan is kindhearted. So tell me, what is your final wish?
Tara Singh: The son would like to meet his father!
[everyone shocked]
Major General Hamid Iqbal: Tara Singh! You showed up at the right time. Son's murder in front of his father... what a sight! You killed 40 of my soldiers, didn't you? Today I will finally be at peace!
Tara Singh: General sir! Please let my son go. He is innocent. Your fight is with me. I stand in front of you.
Major General Hamid Iqbal: My fight is with every Indian! You've tortured our Muslim brothers in India enough. Now, we will win them freedom!
Tara Singh: Freedom from whom?
[guns pointed at him]
Tara Singh: India belongs to Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Hindus, every Indian in general. All of them have fought and made sacrifices for independence!
Major General Hamid Iqbal: Oh really? Then what about the Mukti Bahini movement you guys created in East Pakistan by brainwashing our Bengali Muslim brothers?
Tara Singh: We didn't create it; they are all victims of your torture. Instead, your soldiers murdered thirty lakh Bengali Muslims and tortured the women there.
Major General Hamid Iqbal: No! It's all lies!
Tara Singh: Then what about the one crore refugees in India?
Major General Hamid Iqbal: That was staged by your own people to deceive the world!
Tara Singh: Stop lying, General. Enough with this political game. Enough of bossing around the Muslims. If the people here are given a chance to resettle in India, half of Pakistan would be empty. This politics will turn you into a beggar. Even if you beg, no charity will be shown!
Major General Hamid Iqbal: Enough! Enough with this nonsense! Tie the father along with the son to the cannon. Let's see what he plucks today

Tara Singh: [roars]
[grenades dropped]
- Alternative VersionenPrior to its theatrical release, the film received a U/A certificate after 10 modifications were made. These included:
- The scene of the rioters chanting 'Har Har Mahadev' have been removed. The 'Shiv Tandav' shlokas were replaced with the song line 'Akhand hai...who sang hai'.
- The word 'Bastard' was replaced with 'Idiot'. The designation of Defence Minister was incorrectly depicted. It was rectified to 'Raksha Mantri', the word 'Tirange' was changed to 'Jhande' and the 'Har Jhande Ko...' dialogue was suitably modified.
- The line in the thumri song 'Bata De Sakhi' was replaced by 'Bata De Piya Kahaan Bitaayi Shaam'. A dialogue 'Dono ek hi toh hai. Baba Nanak ne bhi yahin kaha hai' was replaced with 'Ek noor te sab jag upaje. Baba Nanak ne bhi yehi kaha hai' with references to the holy Quran and Bhagavad Gita.
- The makers were asked to submit documentary evidence for all the stats and references made about the 1971 India-Pakistan war. Also, the makers submitted translation for the shlokas and mantras used in the film.
- VerbindungenFollows Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001)
Disaster from start to finish. I had high hopes for this movie, being a fan of the original Gadar, but it fell incredibly short. The plot was confusing and poorly executed, the acting was wooden, and the dialogues felt forced and cringe-worthy. It's evident that the filmmakers were trying to cash in on the success of the first movie without putting in any real effort. Save your time and money, and skip this disappointing sequel.
Such kind of movie would never help hindi cinema to thrive.
