WUSSTEST DU SCHON:
- Zitate
Self - Host: nice to see you again
Self - Guest: nice to see you
Self - Host: thanks for being here again
Self - Guest: my pleasure, it's my last show of the year
Self - Host: a special slot: last guest of 2021
Self - Guest: wow, I don't know what I did to deserve it
Self - Host: you're a fantastic guest, your just wonderful company to be with
Self - Guest: well, now you've set "the bar" very high
Self - Host: I have, yes. Every word from your mouth is a "pearl of wisdom." You are an easy guest because you know to professionally talk on camera
Self - Guest: and I don't "roll deep", I don't have a big entourage
Self - Host: no, you don't, it's just you
Self - Guest: like Betty White, she's got a huge entourage
Self - Host: unbelievable, yeah, she's got her own omelet chef
Self - Host: [while Cooper laughs] everywhere she goes
Self - Guest: really?
Self - Host: Frittatas, he does more than omelets: you get the idea
Self - Guest: I actually knew a guy who was famous for being an omelet chef, his name was Rudolph Stanish
Self - Host: you did not anyone who was "famous" for being an omelet chef
Self - Guest: [adamantly] he was famous for being an omelet chef
Self - Host: was it Rudolph Stanish of the omelet "family"?
Self - Guest: he was an omelet...
Self - Host: [interrupts him, jokingly] he invented the omelet?
Self - Guest: in fact, he was so famous for an omelet chef, that he had his own line of omelet frying pans, this was the 1970's
Self - Host: [jokingly, sarcastically] who would've thought you were a Vanderbilt?
Self - Host: [as Cooper laughs and the audience applauses, sarcastically] who would've not guessed it?
Self - Host: [changing the subject] your over at the CNN, as I said and I know that journalists don't like to be the "story." At least, that's the "thing" you guys say, "but" CNN is the "story" in many ways right now, certainly, the last couple of weeks. I mean, Chris Cuomo was let go, I wouldn't say "suddenly" but a little "surprisingly" but we didn't necessarily see it coming that day, were people surprised over at the "shop?"
Self - Guest: I don't think "surprised over all" but I mean it "happened" then it "didn't happen" very quickly so...
Self - Host: [interrupts him] it didn't "happen" for like a year, then it was it "might happen"
Self - Guest: well, look, I think people were surprised the day it "actually happened" but look, I mean...
Self - Host: [interrupts him] did you know that night, did you know before we did?
Self - Guest: no, I had no idea
Self - Host: you found out from watching the news?
Self - Guest: yeah, absolutely, yeah
Self - Host: you didn't have a staff meeting and everything and they say "We're gonna tell everybody, Chris isn't here?"
Self - Guest: no, of course not, their gonna do a "staff meeting" and say "We're gonna do this "thing but don't tell anybody?"
Self - Host: [adamantly] yes, that's exactly what they would do: the corporation would let the employees know that you might be contacted by outside members of the press and we're gonna make some news right now by canceling our number one show
Self - Guest: [sarcastically] you know what? I don't think CBS does that
Self - Host: I know everybody who gets fired before the audience does
Self - Guest: do you really?
Self - Host: [jokingly] one hundred percent
