Wendigo: Bound by Blood

I am a Len Kabasinki fan. I even joined his Patreon. That said, this is one of his worst movies. It doesn't have a story. It has two almost entirely unconnected stories that occasionally trip over each other. There's what I think is the main story about the Wendigo. Well, Wendigo is in the title anyway. This is interspersed with another story about some criminals trying to kill a guy in witness protection. The two are so disconnected that it feels like flipping back and forth between two different short movies and neither one of them really works. They sort of converge at the end but not really. It's more like everyone happens to end up at the same place when whatever happens happens. One thing I expect from a Len Kabasinski movie is good fight scenes. But the fight scenes here are just bad and boring. I never though I would say that about one of Len's movies but there it is. The fight at the end of Blood Prism is much better and that's not even an action movie. The ending is...I'm not sure what that was supposed to be really. It doesn't end so much as it splutters to a stop and falls on its face.
