The best singer in South Auckland

Wayne is a south Auckland hero. A talented singer who has been inexplicably overlooked for over 30 years now. His talent is obvious to anyone who has the pleasure of a performance, and he adds a touch of style to any occasion.

From the rest home circuit in Manurewa, this series follows Wayne's rise through the ranks of New Zealand music, culminating with a performance at Sky City. Ably assisted by his manager, Orlando Stewart, we see Wayne confront more than his fair share of trials along his journey.

His dogged determination is an inspiration to us all. My life is better for having seen this great performer.
