For this volume of Girlfriends' series, Brenda James displays once again her acting prowess, playing the mother of a would-be bridegroom, the lad never appearing on screen in this all-girl format.

James returns chatting over dinner at home with Allie Haze, their relationship to each other left hanging (as with much of this porn genre, the viewer is frequently and intentionally left to invent such matters, in the current trend to inject incest or at least crypto-incest into every situation.

The other two vignettes are more imaginative, verging on over the top action. Julia Ann is spying on cutie Capri Anderson while latter is baking cookies, and storms in to confront the girl over her besting Julia repeatedly in baking competitions, in which Julia's brownies finish a distant second. She demands to know the secrets of Capril's dough preparation and mama's secret recipe, cuing a drawn-out catfight in the kitchen that contrivedly continues in Capri's bedroom.

This scene benefits from the actresses staying in character, as their love/hate relationship unfolds and each vies for domination during sex.

Goofy scene features cover girls Bobbi Starr and Sara Stone in what I took to be something of an in-joke regarding Bobbi's status as one of porn's most uninhibited gonzo performers, yet also a capable actress in softer assignments. It is fun to see Bobbi overact to a fare thee well, agitated that she was fired from her hospital job when a jealous co-worker finked on her about "inappropriate behavior" (a mere copping a breast feel) by her with an older gentleman patient.

Sara sympathizes and decides to comfort Bobbi with an anal workout. Besides fingering Starr's rectum, Stone trots out a Sybian machine with two penis attachments, and then has Bobbi sit on the vibrating accessories, first the smaller and then a larger one for her ass. This leads to more conventional lesbian sex in a "gee whiz" sort of spectacle that GIrlfriends fans (likely predominantly male ones) crave.
