My friend and I poured countless hours into this game when we were in high school, but haven't played it since. Looking back it's probably one of those games you tolerate when young because you don't know better, but must feel loaded with jank nowadays. Positive memories nonetheless.
The mission structure, stealth, and gameplay very much remind me of Goldeneye and XIII, or perhaps the Delta Force series. Like those games too you can memorise levels to an almost subconscious level and repeat identical playthroughs over and over. The gargantuan settings were devoid of literally anything but created a great sense of space, while most level assets like buildings etc were copy-pasted endlessly. The enemies were pretty rudimentary even for the time and the game can be appallingly cheap in its difficulty. I never finished the final level, the last firefight was too punishing. The M203 grenades were ludicrously overpowered.
