Well acted cast with boring scenery. Dark drab storyline, dialog and lighting. These limitations were confirmed at the end when I realized it was a play made into a movie. Had I know going into it, I likely would not have wasted my time.
"Breathing In" left much to be desired. Despite strong performances from the cast, the film's dialogue and storyline felt like they dragged on endlessly, making the experience tedious. The scenery, unfortunately, mirrored this sentiment-drab and dark without much to captivate the audience. Overall, it felt nightmarish to watch, making it hard to stay engaged. It was a missed opportunity for what could have been a compelling story.
