In this case, beautiful says not very much about a gentle , intense love story, a story of survive/ wake up.

A venerable cobbler wasting his life after the death of his wife. Small gestures, pieces of routine. An envelope change all.

He is , again, near his lady. Dancing, talking, accepting a game, visiting a school, living happiness , offering to the viewer clues about the story of him. Maybe, accepting the solitude in fair manner.

The wise use of ambiguity represents one of basic virtues of this profound beautiful embroidery of emotions. And the inspired acting of Marc Staljanssens. And the dance moments . And the apparence about feeding of ducks.

In short, melancholical story, beautiful crafted short film.
