Official submission of Costa Rica to the best foreign language film category of the 87th Academy Awards 2015.

I suppose that someone who is totally ignorant of the tragic history of Central America might find this film to be unintelligible and incomprehensible. However I found it to be absorbing. Those turbulent times produced tragic circumstances that families found themselves caught up in and forced to deal with as best they could. It is not a slick Hollywood production, but then it was never intended to be one.
