Troupe 2055 was originally going to do Chicago as their spring production in 2020, but it got canceled due to the pandemic. 2023 is the graduation year for all the freshmen from that year, so they decided to try again. Most of the cast is different, though Alexis kept her role as Mary Sunshine and Morgan, who originally was ensemble, got promoted to Mama

After "Funny Honey", the on-stage lights go down, meaning you can see through the scrim. This reveals the silhouette of Fred Casely's actor getting up to read an ensemble line for the following scene. Because Fred Casely was just murdered, the audience reacts audibly to this, and someone in the audience even says "He's alive" in an amused tone.

There is a student-produced recording of the closing night performance, put together by Amos' actor Tyler Hogan, split into two separate videos and internally called "The Frankenstein Copy". It is made mostly of parent-recorded footage from closing night, though a few snippets are from parent-recorded footage of opening night and a small handful of chunks are missing (most notably a little bit of "All I Care About")
