Director B. Skow, ensconced at Girlfriends Films for several years now, seems to be sleepwalking through his role as director, judging by the last few releases.

Regardless of the title or specific series, there is a deadly dull sameness emerging. These are 3-hour programs, but none of them have a continuous storyline, instead opting for up to hour-long vignettes. Two actresses schmooze briefly, either lovey-dovey or in minor conflict, but after perhaps 5 minutes of build-up they smooch and lie down on a bed or couch and have sex for at least another 40 minutes. Finis. String four such scenes together and you have a video.

The absence of any action, changing locations or even token supporting casts only underlines the built-in boredom of this format.

In its promotion, "Lesbian Seductions 79" is tagged with the label's previous "Older/Younger" category, but on screen it says instead "Lesbian Affairs". There are a couple of Older/Younger couples, but even the seduction component is barely at work.

One scene stars Aften Opal with Krystal Sparks, and has no sparks. It tries to be dramatic, as Krystal is calling off their affair, afraid that her husband is on the verge of finding out, but after Aften pleads with her, they have "one more for the road" in the time (2 hours) before hubby is due home. There's no seduction at all, and no chemistry either.

Two scenes operate with exactly the same gimmick. Natasha Nice (her breasts looking bigger than ever) and her co-worker Gracie Gates are packing up their old office, as NN prepares to open a bigger location, but Gracie is opting out, unwilling to move away as she's married and can't just pick up and leave town. Nice talks her into it, hubby be damned.

Similarly, Ellie Murphy is a student living with Alex Harper, but moving out to pursue her ambitions. Alex wants her to stay and uses sex to convince the younger woman to do so. They are both redheads, the only thing notable about this deadly dull scene, with Ellie particularly inexpressive and unappealing during their sex scene.

Remaining segment has Whitney OC helping Aubree Valentine rehearse for a part by reading lines with her. For the video viewer this backfires, because Whitney can'r read lines -either the ones from the play or her lines as her character here.
