From the very moment Cathy discovered Michael was no longer in prison for the killing of her brother 17yrs ago, she spirals into a web of deceit and revenge. That's the opening of the 4 part series written and adapted from Colin Bateman. Yes, some may say a slow start to the drama, but give it time and you, the viewer, will be hooked into the path of destruction, not knowing just how far Cathy (played by Annabelle Scholey) is prepared to go to seek revenge on Michael (played by Colin Morgan).
Each episode takes you further and further into the web of lies on both parts. But, despite Michael not being as innocent as you think, you kind of feel sorry for him. And the further into the episodes you go, the more you feel compelled to find out what will happen. I have given it a 10/10. It's gripping edge of your seat viewing.
The only thing that lets it down slightly, is the ending. What an ending though! But you are left in a cliffhanger moment. Left wanting. Wanting to know if Cathy did really do what you're supposed to believe to Michael. Did Michael's family ever find out the truth. I guess you the viewer have to decide.
