Shannon Matthews the Musical the Movie

It's rare that I really enjoy the music from.a musical but the songs in this one were fantastic- I've been humming them for days. The storytelling was just hilarious and Samantha was wonderful as Karen.

The film really brought the story to life and gave the audience a clear insight into the characters. Despite the daft subject matter- the film was well researched, well acted and well produced.

I attended a showing in Leeds and it was fantastic to see both actors and members of the band enjoying the show. They were so friendly afterwards and it was clear that this production was a labour of love.

I cannot wait to see what KATG get up to next. I heard a rumour that a musical about that evil, talentless, swindling ladbaby who became addicted to shoving sausage rolls up his bottom is on the cards. I hope so.
