Lewis heads into a job interview that ends up being a somewhat hostile exchange between him and his soon-to-be employer.
A friend of mine recently released this short film on YouTube. I was excited to watch it since I haven't seen the two feature films he has released yet, but I plan on seeing them and writing a review soon. What I liked about this short is the conversation between Percival Lee and his soon-to-be new employee, Lewis. Starting off as a normal interview, things quickly escalate between the two, making it a bit hostile. However, Lewis manages to keep his cool by not only proving his worth but also outsmarting his soon-to-be employer. The film heavily relies on dialogue, and throughout its runtime of just under twelve minutes, it delivers thanks to the writing. I was intrigued the entire time, wondering where the conversation would go, and after it ended, I would have gladly accepted more. Based on this short film, I can easily see that @dylananglin_ knows how to write, direct, and capture everything it takes to make a short film. Now I'm even more excited to watch his feature films. This short is currently available on YouTube, and I suggest checking it out if you're into something experimental and quick.
I give this film a 7/10.
