The costumes and set are outstanding. The facts are so accurate and reminded me of Buddhist facts I had forgotten. It a great film to watch with kids as it leaves them curious about how people lived back in the day and culture. The song is nice and paired with the acting it brought tears to me. Fantastic casting. Wish we get to see more films (historical and culturallly accurate films) like this to enjoy with the younger generation. Strong acting by the main actresses and Ananda theo portrayed by Dhananjaya Siriwardena is outstanding. Siddhartha is very handsome and cute, the kings dialogue resonate with me.
