Lame Movie

In New Orleans, there is a crime spree with twenty-two murders and the serial killer is the eighteen-year-old Jesse Winters (Max Jay-Dixon), a.k.a. "The Butcher". When the police capture him, he goes to court, is found guilty and is executed by lethal injection. His mother Kate Winters (Lisa Mackel Smith) claims that Jesse was possessed by a demon when he killed his father and started his murders, but no one listens to her. Therefore, she hires the documentarian Eddie Daniels (Donovan Jackson) and his crew to prove that Jesse was possessed by a demon. She also hires the skeptical psychiatrist Benjamin Hatcher (Sam Cobean) and his nurse Sarah (Kristen Merritt) to prove that she is sane. Kate summons the demon that possessed Jesse at the beginning of her journey to prove the innocence of her son. Will she succeed?

"Proof of the Devil", a.k.a. "The Exorcism Tapes" (2015), is a lame found footage movie by Paul Catalanotto, with a boring and annoying story. The screenplay is awful, the characters stupid in terrible situations. The acting is also horrible as well as the effects. Watching this laughable film is a complete waste of time. I liked the title of another review saying that this movie is beyond awful. My vote is three.
