Held down jobs as waiter, fisherman, lived in the jungle in Colombia, where he survived working as a sawyer in the Chocó jungle. In NYC, Juan held jobs as bike messenger, construction and demolition worker, truck driver, gondolier, assistant director at the Public Theater.
