There is a fictional character named Scott Peterson in
Demolition Man (1993) who is not shown but his name appears on a monitor. The other inmate listed on the monitor has a surname (last name) of Quentin. Scott is doing his time in San Quentin. Also, the character of Kate Brewster's fiancé in
Terminator 3: La rebelión de las máquinas (2003) was originally named Scott Petersen. Due to the name's similarity to Scott (whos unborn son was named named Conner, as a matter of fact) and the plot of his fiancée's kidnapping, the character's name was changed to Scott Mason, although he's still listed as Scott Petersen in the credits.
