Naomi Rubin(II)
- Reparto
After falling in love with acting in school musicals, Naomi Rubin began her professional acting career in 2018 when she was cast in the Netflix original series "Atypical" where she recurred as Noelle for three seasons. Following "Atypical", Naomi worked on Disney's "A Girl" pilot, and recurred as Ellie on Jason Katim's Amazon Prime Series "As We See It." She has been in several short films, most recently, Allison Norlian's award winning "Thirteen" which premieres in 2024.
Naomi is actively involved in live theater in Los Angeles, and recently completed a 3 month run of the world premiere of "Bisexual Sadness" at the Road Theater, where she is a company member. She's also had the opportunity to work with giants such as Stephen Schwartz on Broadway and played opposite Jason Sudeikis as Violet in a streamed live reading of the classic "It's a Wonderful Life."
An LA native who began performing at the age of 8, Naomi is on the autism spectrum and credits her neurodiverse thinking for the ability to imagine characters, and animate their emotional universe. She is unafraid of exploring themes of vulnerability and awkwardness in her work. When she's not acting or singing, Naomi can be found volunteering with rescue cats at Perry's Place, practicing martial arts, or writing fan fiction.
