Lin Yin is a bilingual (Mandarin and English) actor born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. Having just completed the Australian tour of Anchuli-Felicia King's play 'White Pearl' with Sydney Theatre Company, Lin was recently cast alongside Sam Neill, Christoph Waltz and Miranda Otto in fantasy feature 'The Portable Door,' coming to Stan in 2023. Lin made her film debut in 2018 on feature film The Whistleblower, the biggest Chinese-Australian co-production to ever be shot in Australia. Soon after Lin was cast as Freya in the critically acclaimed web & TV series 'Flunk,' which has garnered a dedicated international fan base with millions of online views.
Lin holds a Diploma in Musical Theatre and has trained at the the Actor's Temple in the Meisner Technique in London. She also has a Bachelor degree in Media Communications and Psychology from the University of Melbourne.
