E.J. NiBlack-Gray

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Chicago, E.J. NiBlack-Gray realized from an early age she had a passion for the arts and wanted to pursue a career in film/television. She matriculated at Columbia College Chicago, majoring in Cinema Arts, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2020. There she was able to gain hands-on experience learning from Filmmakers, Editors, and Screenwriters who pushed her to think outside the box to expand her creative thinking.
E.J. directed her first independent pilot "The Come Up." The pilot would later win awards at 2021's Series Fest Season 7 for Best Drama, Best Ensemble, and Best Actress. Additionally, winning Outstanding Drama at Catalyst 2021 and was nominated for Best Experimental at the Amsterdam 2022 Septimius Awards.
She is aggressively looking for opportunities that will assist in her transition to the professional realm of Television Directing. Until then, E.J. is moving forward in her goal to become a respected Director through her perseverance in making time to create and Direct stories of her own
