Ash Wing

Ash Wing is an Australian filmmaker based in Los Angeles. He is the founder of 616 Films, a filmmaking collective that operates out of LA and Sydney, Australia. He has directed many short films, documentaries and music videos, some of which have received official selection into festivals, including - San Francisco IndieFest, Southern California International Film Festival, Byron Bay International Festival, LA Independent Film Festival, Zed Fest LA, Brooklyn Sci Fi Festival, Another Hole in the Head and Lift Off Los Angeles. He has directed music videos in the US and Australia for bands that include Bum Bag, No Vacation, Fuzz Foxx, Hot Oil, Castlecomer and Pink Zinc. He is trained in film having graduated from AFTRS(Australian National Film School) and Bond University (Gold Coast), as well as having worked in various assistant roles for high end commercial production companies in Sydney.
