Taylor McFadden(I)

Taylor has written, directed and produced short and feature narrative films, experimental films, and music videos. Her debut feature film Lovers, which she wrote, produced and directed, has completed post production, and stars Angela Trimbur (Search Party, The Future), and Amelia Meath (Sylvan Esso) with original music by Nathaniel Rateliff. Her last short film Loose Ends won the Rising Star Award in 2018 at the Canada International Film Festival. She is known for directed music videos for artists such as Nicole Atkins and Brandy Zdan, that have been featured in numerous publications, including Rolling Stone, BUST Magazine, and Pitchfork. In 2014 she moved to Istanbul Turkey, as the assistant to acclaimed filmmaker Bahman Ghobadi (A Time for Drunken Horses, Rhino Season). She has studied the craft of filmmaking with great teachers such as the late Elizabeth Kemp, Judith Weston, and Joan Scheckel.
