Julio Carvana has extensive experience in cinema and holds a degree in Film & Television Business from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He holds executive and artistic positions, as well as CEO of Mac Comunicação e Produção.
He was the Producer of two seasons of the series Saideira, the feature documentary Carvana and the film Casa da Mãe Joana 2. He was Director of the 2nd Unit, Assistant Director for films as "Não se preocupe nada vai dar certo" and "Casa da Mãe Joana" in co-production with Globo Filmes.
Executive Produced two seasons of the documentary series "A(u)tores" from the series Canto dos Exilados, in addition to the film "Ciclos 2", winner of the Prix Special Du Jury LÊs Êcrans de LAventure - Dijon, 2018, "Eu Sou Carlos Imperial" and "Ensaio sobre o silêncio" - both in co-production with Canal Brasil.
