Ayana Workman is the daughter of legendary jazz bassist Reggie Workman, who played with the John Coltrane Quartet, among many others. Her mother is Maya Milenovic Workman, a internationally renowned dancer and choreographer. As such, she's also a trained musician who plays multiple instruments, a dancer and an acting teacher at her mom's Dance Academy in Montclair, New Jersey.
