Ricardo Marques, founder of 4Act Entertainment, started his career as a singer and actor, later becoming a director and producer, and has worked in the theatre industry for fourteen years and in the film industry for seven years.
In Brazil, Ricardo was lead producer and artistic director of Broadway and West End shows like Ghost, Bodyguard, Grease, In the Heights, Rock of Ages, Fame, Bare, and also developed three original Brazilian shows. Ricardo also directed Disney's Newsies in the Brazilian Workshop.
Ricardo has worked in a host of West End and Broadway productions and is also developing two new productions in the US and UK.
Recent productions include Back to the Future the Musical Broadway and West End, The Wiz Revival US Tour, and the UK Tour and West End production of Grease.
In film, as director and executive producer, credits include the featured film Let Me Go (US). In Brazil was director and producer of the TV serie Invisível (Invisible) and also production designer and producer in the feature film Stalking. Directed some video clips and TV programs.
Ricardo studied Acting and Voice in Brazil, and Musical Theatre in New York, graduating from FAAP in Business and completed a Masters in Cinema/Filmmaking in LA FILM. Ricardo founded the first specialized musical theatre school in Brazil and Latin America, the 4Act Performing Arts.
